Jesse Alexander 1938 Alfa Romeo Tipo 158/159 Photograph Litho Factory Museum. Jesse Alexander photo of the legendary Alfa Romeo Type 159 race car, taken at the Alfa Romeo factory museum in Arese in 1988. The car began its career in 1938 as a Tipo 158, developed for the pre-WWII voiturette formula. After the war, it competed in 35 races in the new Formula 1, dominating the first two seasons with 32 wins in the capable hands of equally legendary drivers, Juan Manuel Fangio, Nino Farina, Luigi Fagioli, and Felice Bonetto. The Tipo 159 is one of the most successful racing cars ever, taking the checkered flag in 47 of 54 races it entered. Print is in excellent condition with a softly bumped lower left corner. Measures 11" x 14" (28cm x 36cm).

Arrived expertly packed and in pristine condition. Excellent item so fast across the pond! Unless otherwise noted in the description, everything we sell is returnable for any reason. _gsrx_vers_1436 GS 9.0.5 (1436).
